6th Dan (Rokudan)

1. Complete research and submit thesis on a psychological or physiological topic, explain, and teach it.

2.Prepare a slideshow presentation on the subject (5-10 slides maximum).

3.Examinee selects one Kata from Groups A-D; Examiner selects two katas from Groups A-D.

(Katas must differ in principle, e.g. Shorin vs Shorei.)
